To conclude the conference on Day 1, we are inviting attendees to an evening event where wine will be served, books will be launched and the ISTR Outstanding Contribution to Theatre and Performance Award will be awarded!
Day 1 16:30 — 19:00, IADT Digital Media Building
ISTR runs an annual essay competition for New Scholars. There is no set theme for this competition; rather, candidates are encouraged to submit work drawing on their current research in the area of drama, theatre and performance.
Day 2 13:00 — 13:30, IADT Digital Media Building
This event will be held at lunchtime on Day 1 and will allow the opportunity for Early Career Researchers to interact and build connections with their academic colleagues. Our conference prides itself on being inclusive and without hierarchy. Everyone’s contribution is appreciated and there is no hierarchy of discussion or opinion.
Day 1 12:45 — 13:45, IADT Digital Media Building
Developed in a Ukrainian refugee camp in Ireland, New Moon weaves together video installation and assemblage to explore displacement, resilience, and the struggle to reclaim humanity in the wake of war. The work reflects on personal experiences of loss, survival, and adaptation.
